How to Enrol
Applications to enrol in the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Master of Biostatistics, or in single non-award units, should be directed to one of the universities that comprise the BCA Consortium and are entitled to 'award' the *certificate/diploma/degree.
See here for contact details of Awarding Universities.
Each unit of study within the program is delivered by distance means from one of 7 participating universities.
Applicants should note that the program is designed for part-time study and, due to the collaborative nature of the program, most units of study are semester specific. Most units are associated with co/prerequisites (see page 5 of the BCA Program Outline). Applicants are advised to seek academic advice about their prospective study program from the Program Coordinator at the university in which they wish to enrol (this will become their 'home' university). The program coordinator is the academic at each awarding university responsible for teaching and student issues associated with the BCA program of courses in biostatistics.
Please note that BCA courses are designed to be studied part-time. In order to plan your study, it is important to consult the Curriculum Table and Study Schedules in the 2008 Program Outline.
*Program titles can differ between universities. Program content is, however, the same across universities.
How the consortium works
